Pancake
breakfast and
egg hunts. Plastic eggs are hidden throughout
the park filled with candy, prize coupons,
and assorted goodies!
Other activities include such fun as face
painting, and family games for all ages!
Don’t forget to bring a container for your
eggs and your camera to take a picture with
the Easter Bunny!

El
Dorado High School Film Festival
May
Features
a
collection of short films created by students
at El Dorado. The show is projected on a
giant widescreen in the high school theater
and lasts about two hours. It showcases
about 35 short films, music videos, PSAs,
animations, and ads. Awards are given to
the best entries. Benefits the March of
Dimes and the schools
video production classes.

Summer
Concerts in the Park
This five-week series of free musical concerts
is held outside in Tri-City Park. The lineup
varies between musical styles (country,
classic rock and instrumental). Refreshments
are sold at the park, but you might want
to pack your own picnic basket.

The
Heritage Festival and Parade
October
Since
1965, this celebration of the city's heritage
includes a parade and fair booths. The festivities
begin with the Chamber of Commerce pancake
breakfast in the morning followed by the
parade and band review. The festival generally
begins at 10:00 a.m. and features many exciting
activities for the entire family such as
an annual car show, a crafts fair, food
booths, kids games and more.
