Carol Fallon Riding Center Winter Camps are one day camps of small groups of 4-6, ages 5-14. These one day camps are highly supervised by qualified instructors in a professional, safe environment. Private camps may be arranged with a minimum of 4 participants.

Explore an array of winter-themed activities in our beautiful 5 acre wonderland! Children will learn about different multicultural winter celebrations. We will continue planting, tending, harvesting, and cultivating our Edible Garden. We will observe fractals in romanesco and ferns, and plan for late winter planting. Children will also explore "New Year's Eve" Celebrations around the world and enjoy such activities as yoga, art, Italian & Spanish language, books, dancing, singing, poetry, basic sewing skills, puppet making, crafts, positive communication skills, friendship building activities, games -- and more!

Bring your child to our tour around the world in the winter! With our winter camp, your kids will have a blast learning about the winter season, and other country's traditions and folklore. Groups are very small and space is limited to 10 campers. Our 4 and 8 hour blocks are suitable for all levels, from bilingual students to beginners with no language experience. Each component of the winter camp will enhance your child's experience of the target language and culture via calisthenics, dance, crafts, songs, recipes, stories and more. Our classes are taught by native speakers who are not only the best in their field, but also extremely passionate about what they do.

At Open House Creative, our kid’s art program is rooted in inventive thinking and focuses on the future-youth of scientists, mathematicians and designers who will use creative problem solving skills to become the game changers of tomorrow.

We offer both half day or full day camps where your child can experience a fun, creative, and messy journey through the art world. Printmaking, drawing, mixed media, ceramics and watercolor are some of the many camps available during winter break.

Prep Stars
Located in Irvine

Prep Stars teaches a Wednesday chess class for beginner and intermediate players. Children will learn the basic moves, opening and mid-game strategies, and the all-important end-game. Students will also learn about the history of chess, and study famous players and matches. Players will become familiar with chess terminology and notation. Students will play matches against each other, and experience playing against chess computers. All chess instructors have above a 1900 chess rating. Prep Stars chess has open enrollment, but spots are limited.

Parents must register through Irvine Chinese School please call (949) 559-6868, extension "572" and speak to Tracy to enroll. The classes are in room 202 from 2:15pm-3:15pm on the second floor.
