Memorial Day Program
The Orange County Cemetery District will host Memorial Day Services honoring veterans at all three of the District's cemeteries; Anaheim Cemetery, El Toro Memorial Park and Santa Ana Cemetery.
All services are open to the public and attendance is free. Services will be held rain or shine. Seating may be limited, however you are able to bring a blanket or chair too.

Veterans
of War Memorial Day Event
Dana Point Veterans of War Post 9934 presents this annual Memorial Day Event held at Pines Park in Capistrano Beach. This special memorial for all fallen veterans of all wars with flowers to be placed on memorial for loved ones and friends who served our country and have passed on. Special presentation of Marine Corps traditional empty boots ceremony honoring those who lost their lives defending our country.

The Greatest Generation and US Marines Saluted in Fullerton Memorial Day Service
Free to the public, the program is sponsored by the nonprofit American Veterans Memorial Association and the City of Fullerton. Members of the public including all veterans, especially the World War II veterans whom Tom Brokaw appropriately named “the Greatest Generation,” are invited to attend.

Memorial
Day Ceremony
This Memorial Day ceremony in honor of veterans who have lost their lives in battle is hosted by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Jewish War Veterans. The Ceremony includes a flag raising, rifle salute, and a playing of taps. Local dignitaries will officiate.

Memorial Day Ceremonies
The Sunday Memorial Day ceremony, in partnership with the Northwood Memorial committee, will take place at the Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial and features presentations by Gold Star families. Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket for seating.
On Monday, the City of Irvine will also host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony in the Formal Garden at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park. Attendees will have the opportunity to memorialize our troops' sacrifice by writing down a brief remembrance to be posted on a memory board at the event.

Day Half Marathon
Memorial Day
This
favorite Memorial Day running event takes
place in the beautiful Orange County cities
of Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Woods,
and Laguna Niguel. Runners and walkers of
all experience levels are invited to come
out and enjoy the Memorial Day festivities!
With a half marathon (13.1 miles), 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles), 10K Run/Walk (6.2 miles) and a Kid's Run (1/2 Mile), there is something for everyone!

Memorial Day Event
The City of San Clemente invites the community to join in our annual observance to remember all fallen soldiers of war. The program features key note speakers from the military and local leaders, color guards dressed in authentic uniforms, patriotic music, bagpipers, and a floral ceremony.
This event is co-sponsored by the local chapter of VFW, South Coast Detachment, Marine Corps League, Orange County Sheriff Department, MOWW, and many civic organizations and volunteers. The event is free and open to the public.
